This home is located in Adelaide, South Australia.
Joel is a surfer, Tess is a novice surfer, and they both love being by the ocean. They were overseas and then decided to come back because of Covid and had nowhere to live. So they decided to build a little home. Joel’s father is a builder, and he helped them to build and design their tiny house. It is like a DIY project , all they did themselves.
The first impression is the cool oceans vibe mural painted on the front of this tiny home. Tess likes painting very much, so shie did it herself.
There are a lot of windows in order to feel that they are not living in the box and are near nature.They have woodfire,the design is very interesting in their main room there is an interesting feature piece made for the light, which accentuates that all in this home is natural and homemade.
They have two bathrooms and two toilets inside composting and outside composting.
They have a little but comfortable kitchen with all necessities. It has a very remarkable design. There is a little wardrobe, with its comfort.
On the upstairs there is a bedroom with an interesting window which is made of old dead red gam. They also made an intersting wooden table there.
This is a home which Tess and Joe designed to fully connect the indoors with the outdoors, bringing a charming sense of nature into every aspect of the home and to live cozy.
