This home is located in Auckland, New Zealand. The square home is about 10x14x25 ft.

Thomas and Caroline decided to build a tiny house as part of a plan to start a market garden business. To save money, they came up with the brilliant idea of finding land for their business and building a tiny house they could take onto the land with them. Despite not having any prior experience of construction, the couple tackled the building and just over a year later they are now living in their building’s dream house.

This tiny home is solar-powered and even heats its water using solar thermal tubes on the roof.  The home collects rainwater and also has a clever under-deck rainwater harvesting system. Soon, the home will be surrounded by permaculture-inspired market gardens.

The interior of the house is very beautiful and tasteful. There is a lounge connected to the kitchen, a small office, and a bathroom.

Upstairs is the couple’s bedroom.

This couple lives very happily in their warm and cozy home.
