This amazing 40ft shipping container home in Northland, New Zealand is designed to be completely off the grid and has a huge solar system that provides enough power to even charge an electric car. Annina and Pascal were inspired to build their shipping container home after traveling to New Zealand and working on organic farms. They decided to purchase a block of land and put all they had learned into action, building a small, simple, off-the-grid home from a 40ft shipping container which would allow them to be self-sufficient, and then planting stunning edible gardens around the home.
The interior of the house is quite suitable for a couple. It is bright and comfortable. There is a kitchen, a lounge, a bedroom, and a bathroom.
